Live on MySpace: First Batch of OpenSocial Apps & OpenSocial 0.7
March 14th, 2008 | Published in Google OpenSocial
Congrats to MySpace and the thousands of hardworking developers in the MySpace sandbox -- OpenSocial apps have gone live on MySpace! This marks the second phase of the MySpace Developer Platform where developers can now test their approved applications more broadly with MySpace users and see what other applications are being developed. You can read more details in MySpace's blogpost. In just little over a month since the initial platform launch, MySpace's users now get to take advantage of a wide-range of OpenSocial apps covering music, movies, politics, and many other things.
Not only are these apps available to users, but the MySpace platform is now supporting the OpenSocial 0.7 API. This is a great time to jump in and build an app, or get an existing app up and running on MySpace. To get started, visit the MySpace Developer Platform site.
