How to access what's new:
To allow users to opt-in to use the new editor, in the Admin Control Panel, administrators need to enable the checkbox 'enable pre-release features' in 'Domain Settings'.
- When editing a spreadsheet, users will then see a 'new version' link on the top of any spreadsheet. Clicking on this link allows a user to opt-in to use the new editor.
- If users wish to opt-out again, click on 'older version' to use the older editor without affecting the spreadsheet.
Note: Starting on May 3rd, 2010 we're temporarily phasing out support for offline access to Google Docs through Gears while we work on new and improved HTML5-based offline access. For more information on this, please visit the Help Center.
