YouTube joins the Google Data family
August 28th, 2007 | Published in Google Code
As promised at Developer Day, YouTube is now available as a GData API. Search through YouTube's index and get detailed video, user, and playlist information in the form of GData feeds. If you haven't built something with YouTube yet, now's a great time to get started!
For developers using the old REST/XML-RPC API, please see the migration guide for more information.
Read all the details about our new release over at the YouTube API Announcement Blog.
I'm looking forward to seeing some new faces in our developer forum!
