.NET sample code published
August 28th, 2006 | Published in Google Checkout
They say that good things come to those who wait. Well, the wait is over for the .NET sample code for Checkout integration. Last Tuesday, August 22nd, we published the code in the sample code area of the Developer's Center.
If you use Visual Studio to build your web UI, you can drag-and-drop the Google Checkout button into your page, add six lines of code, and start posting test orders to Google. If you use another editor, you will have to add a tag in your web page as well.
In either case, you should have a simple test application running within minutes, now that you don't have to start from scratch. If you have questions or comments, please post them to the .NET developer forum.
The source code is, of course, part of the package, and I encourage you to tinker with it and get a feel for how it works. As a matter of fact, we're planning to build an open-source process around this code, so that the community's fixes and new features can be incorporated and distributed. Stay tuned for details!
